Netherlands from Above - 24 hour seagull

This animation shows the movements of a seagull in one day. The animation is based on real data from a transmitter carried by the bird. You can see how the seagull starts by the sea, then goes inland to the city of Amsterdam for a while – probably fishing in garbage cans – then out to sea again, then back home where it began.
